Maker Spotlight – Get To Know The Face Behind The Brand.
Meet Theresa from A Creative House. Theresa lives in Arvada, Colorado and has been creating jewelry with resin for a few years, but has created art for as long as she can remember, the mediums have just changed. She is heavily inspired by her husband’s Japanese heritage and she will often get an idea while she is completing everyday tasks. Theresa also enjoys drawing, reading and painting. When she is in maker mode she likes to listen to music and to TV, as she doesn’t get to watch much while creating.
A Creative House specializes in resin products, mainly earrings but you can also find household items like wine butlers, coasters, phone grips, among other items in her Etsy shop. In addition to her resin earrings she also has beaded pieces and some origami pieces as well. Theresa happily accepts custom orders and her Etsy link is in her bio.

–What made you want to start creating?–
“I like to keep busy. Creating art is a good kind of busy.”
-What is your MOST FAVORITE item you have created?-
“Hummingbird earrings.”
-What makes your shop unique? What is your specialty?
“We have a lot of different options. We can do customs and I’m looking to add some different mixed media to some future creations.”
-What is the story behind your business name?
“Always been artsy. Have made just about everything at some point. Got into resin a few years ago and just love how much you can do with it.”
