Maker Spotlight – Get To Know The Face Behind The Brand.
Meet Raphaelle from JewerlyDollx. Raphaelle resides in Ontario, Canada and has been creating for a year and a half. She finds inspiration from her surroundings, patterns, colors and nature. She is also inspired by other amazing makers on Instagram and all the great custom ideas her customers come up with. Raphaelle is an ex-gymnast and is currently doing her Masters in Occupational Therapy. When she is in creator mode she loves listening to, you guessed it, “heavy rap”.
JewerlyDollx specializes in jewelry made with polymer clay. You can find earrings, necklaces and rings in her shop. She has earring styles for everyone, from studs to dangles. -What made you want to start creating?-
“I’ve always loved making jewelry. In fact I worked in a bead store in 2014. During the first lockdown it was only natural for me to look for a creative hobby. I found clay and started practising and fell in love. This led me to post a few pieces online and eventually start my tiny business JewelryDollx!”
-Would you like to share any family info? Pets?-
“I’ve got the cutest Chihuahua called Charlie, and the most supportive fiancé Ben. I consider myself very lucky for my little family.”
-What is your MOST FAVORITE item you have created?-
“My favourite is the Marina Mermaid and most recently, my Geode style earrings!”
-What makes your shop unique? What is your specialty?-
“I love to make earrings for all occasions. I have statement and dainty earrings. Earrings you can wear to work or earrings for a night out! I also LOVE to make custom ideas.”
-What is the story behind your business name?-
“My personal Instagram is Irondollx and when I was thinking of a name for my tiny jewelry business I wanted something that could be linked to me… JewelryDollx was born!”
